Live Feed shows no events
- Confirm the Facebook Page/Group is public — private pages and groups cannot be read without login.
- Double-check the Page username/ID for typos.
- Check your Time Filter in the Filters tab — if it’s set to “Today” and there’s no event today, nothing will show. Try “All Upcoming / Current”.
- Click Clear Cache on the feed in Facebook Events > Live Feed to force a fresh fetch.
Events are outdated / not refreshing
The Live Feed caches events for performance (see Cache, Auto-Refresh & Custom CSS). Lower the Cache Duration, enable Auto-Refresh, or manually click Clear Cache after adding a new Facebook event.
Classic method: “Authorize” button not showing
The Authorize button only appears after both App ID and App Secret are saved on the Settings page. Save those first — see Facebook Account Authorization.
Classic method: HTTPS warning
Facebook Login requires SSL. Enable HTTPS on your site (most hosts offer a free SSL certificate) before authorizing.
Do I need a Facebook Developer account for the Live Feed?
No. The Live Feed does not need a Facebook App, login, or access token of any kind — it only needs a public Page/Group/Event/iCal source.
Can I use Live Feed and the Classic method together?
Yes, both can run on the same site at the same time on different pages.
